Encrypted, record by record. Your ID photo, legal name, date of birth and signed documents are encrypted with AES-256, each under its own key, and those keys are locked by a separate key‑management service.

Your ID has been passed around enough

Every producer has to keep ID records for every performer, and that part isn't going away. What can change is how your ID gets to them, and what you know about it afterwards.

The old way

  • A photo of your passport sent by text or e-mail, sitting in inboxes and camera rolls you will never see.
  • Photocopies in folders and filing cabinets at every studio you have ever worked for.
  • The same paperwork filled in by hand at every shoot: legal name, date of birth, every name you have worked under.
  • No record of who has your ID, or what you agreed to.

With Performers Plus

  • Verify your ID once. Producers find you by stage name and see that you are verified.
  • Every shoot needs your yes. A production can open your ID only after you accept it, and only while that production is open.
  • Sign your model release and 2257 form on your phone, and keep a copy of everything you sign.
  • Your Shoots page keeps a record of every production you were invited to and what you answered.

Only checked producers can invite you

A production company can't find you or invite you until we have checked it by hand. We look the company up in its official business register and speak to a named officer of the company on a live call. The person who creates a production has to verify their own ID too.

How it works

  1. Create your account

    An e-mail address and a password. Performers Plus works in the browser, and you can install it on your phone like an app.

  2. Verify your ID

    Photograph a government photo ID with your date of birth and take a selfie. You have to be 18 or over.

  3. Add your stage names and a photo

    Producers search by stage name, so list every name you work under. Your profile is just your names and your photo.

  4. Accept the shoots you want

    When a producer invites you, you see the production, the date, the cast and your pay before you answer. Accept, then sign your paperwork in the app.
